A downloadable game for Windows

Guided only by their memories, a child with a broken horn wanders a strange place, seeking their missing sibling.

Left and right arrow keys to move

Up arrow key to jump

Certain things will remind you of your lost sibling, and the game will prompt you when this happens. Press and hold Z to interact with them and reminisce, then release the button when you're done.

Press Z during the intro to go to the next scene, or press X to skip entirely.

Known issues:

- Collision is awkward and weird because i couldn't figure out how to get it to work on slopes without the character getting stuck.

V2 fixes:

- Jumping is less floaty

- Character no longer hits their head on certain objects they shouldn't be hitting their head on

- Cutscenes move more slowly

- Option to skip or move forward in introductory cutscene available

Wow, pretty great! I kinda wish that it were possible to increase the screen size (even if it means stretching stuff), but I'm guessing it might be an engine limitation. (Or maybe there wasn't enough time; but that's not a big deal.)

I also kinda wish the reminisce screens would always go back to the first image whenever you re-open the dialog, but oh well. It's kinda nice how it sorta loops... kinda encourages you to just stand there and figure out what's going on. But it also means you just hold still and stare for a while.

At the end, I thought the other character was dead. I sat there, looking at them for a while. And then I let go of the button and the end played. It was a bit of a relief!

this was very good!!! i honestly thought it was gonna have a sad ending but im glad it didnt

Interesting story and love the art style, kind of reminded me of undertale! Unfortunately I couldn't get the game to work on my Mac :(

I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie games and it's free to apply! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join.

Ah, I'm sorry about that! It's a windows-only build since I don't have the Mac module, I forgot to flag the download appropriately.

And I haven't heard of that before, I'll be sure to check it out!

That's alright! :D
